Revision
Revision is a powerful tool for all students. Not only it helps to quickly recollect everything learnt so far, but it also helps us to remember it for a longer time. Revision helpful for not only the academic context, but also for other contexts for other skills like music.
Revision has other names in other contexts.
Musicians call it “improvisation” which has been derived from the word
“improve” which means to make something better than what it is. The property
of music to appease one’s mind comes from improvisation done by musicians.
This statement means that the music that appeases our mind or is pleasing to
us, is created by the musicians by improvisation.
But how is improvisation basically revision? Well,
in improvisation, you do something again and again to make it better than it
sounds in the first place. Say a musician likes some melody that he randomly
created in his mind, then he will need to improvise the music to make it pacifying
and attention-catching to the people.
Revision has its own steps, like does any other
student activity. First of all, you should do it as fast as you can. Doing
something fast would ease you in such a way that you will be able to do more
things in a lesser amount of time, and also you will be getting more time to do
something more.
Revision is basically improving yourself into a
faster, and more efficient person. It expands our knowledge and helps us to do
more things in a lesser time.
Learning to revise things will help you to further
grasp something. So as a student you should have revision in your lists.
