Why we must have a fixed timetable according to our capability?
We all face problems of not having a fixed yet comfortable timetable for ourselves. Some people make their timetable so hard and burdened on them that it becomes extremely hard for them to keep up. Meanwhile some people make their schedule so lightly that they are not able to complete their work. We want to have a comfortable timetable for ourselves which helps us to maintain consistent progress throughout; neither too hard, that we are so burdened that we don’t get time for relaxation, nor too easy or too light, in which we are not able to complete our work itself.
One primary thing to note when making a consistent
timetable is that your capability. Everyone has their own unique style, and if
some timetable suits someone the best, it is not necessary that you too should
imply that very time table. A time table should be customized in such a way
that there is no time that you are wasting, and also you get time for your own
relaxation and recreation. Everyone is different, so it may not always work
that you imply a timetable which already someone else follows, that may be too
different for you.
A key thing to note is that a timetable helps us
to get rid of stress, not give us more stress. Of course, it does not mean that
we will not be stressed while doing our works, but we will be having less
stress of management if we manage our tasks beforehand. A timetable should tell
you what to do when, and you must not feel stressed in doing so.
If you are a student, then you have a lot of
things that you need to do. Your parents aspire that you become successful, and
you also want the same for yourself. For that you need to study and learn new
things. Well, it does not mean that only studies and nothing else. Neither does
it mean that everything else and no studies. See, you’ve got to keep a
comfortable balance between these two extremities.
We must learn not to be extreme. Neither extremely
hardworking, nor extremely hardly working. Extreme hard work would be tough for
your mental and physical health, and extreme hardly work would make you a
good-for-nothing type person. Again, you need to be such a person which when
required, works the best he/she can and tries his/her best in every situation.
Coming back to our timetable topic, our timetable
should help us to become the best we can. You see, many students aspire of
getting good marks and appraisals among the teachers, elders and their parents.
Few of them actually are able to make them feel proud. Not only hard work and
dedication matters, but also does discipline. Those who are actually able to make
their elders proud are those who have gone through dedication, hard work, discipline,
and determination. Their timetable, which is part of their discipline, also has
played a very important role in their life in making them successful. Let us
understand this with an example. Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain, exercises
and practices for his matches for hours, which is his dedication and hard work.
He does this every single day, is his discipline. And even when he is not able
to win the match, with the thought of doing better next time, he shows that he
has also gone through determination. See, all three of our categories
satisfied, and that’s what makes him great.
You might not be able to become Virat Kohli in
your life, but you can certainly become a better you. Your fixed timetable
shows that you are ready for dedication, discipline, and determination; and
once you are ready for your hard work, you will see that you will show great
consistency and progress throughout. But the thing is that you must never stop
your dedication, discipline and determination. Because if you stop, you might
be left behind.
