Practice
"Practice makes a man perfect." This is a very famous quote and is renowned all around the world. Practice is the main thing that creates the path to becoming a successful human being. Whether you are a student, a teacher or a professional; practice can turn something into a very good skill that we can be very proficient in. Without any more delay, let's understand how we can become practitioners in whatever field we like.
When we want to achieve something, then the other people around always recommend us that we should practice more and more to achieve that skill. the question might arrive that why is the condition? Well the answer to that question is because practice lets us gain more experience by experimentation, we learn whatever we want to in a proper manner and all our doubts get answered on the way. when we practice something, hen our brain analyses the works that we do and this analysis helps us to gain more experience. It is these experiences which contain knowledge within them. We become more and more aware of something if we practice that things more and more. This is why to achieve something we have to practice more and more.
Normally, if you say someone to practice something that they need to, he/she will hesitate slightly. Some say that they don't have time, others say that they are tired, and others say that they are sick. Very few of them will say yes the first time you will say them. This happens because practicing requires a lot of patience and a lot of us aren't that patient towards our work. Patience comes only when we concentrate entirely on one particular thing and try our best to do it. So, my recommendation to the people who think that they aren't able to get the results on time as they were supposed to, is that they need to become patient with a keen and a stable mindset.
Haven't you hear about the Seven Wonders of the World? Well practice is something that can be considered part of that list too. You can do something without any guidance with practice. You don't require teachers that come and explain you when you practice. Just like self-study is enough for a student to excel. If you practice properly, even with the minimalist or virtually no guidance, you will be able to achieve your goals. On the 10th February 2020, my father bought me a Casio SA-77 and from that day I started to learn to play music on it. I scrolled hundreds of apps and videos on Google Play Store and YouTube, and then finally I picked a few of them for learning to play the piano. I did not take classes from a professional music teacher for this purpose and because of which it was quite difficult, but still I can say that I have learned something about the piano. Just like me learning the keyboard, you can also give your time in something that you want to learn and if you patiently practice, then you will be able to learn that skill. It doesn't matter if you get a teacher for you to teach you and guide you all through, but it does matter if you want to continue. If you want to continue, then practice is the only principle that you need to follow to achieve your goals. But if you don't want to continue, then whatever guidance is given to you is just going into trash.
When we practice, them our mind starts to notice our activity. It tries to understand that yes, we really need to progress in some field, and when it understands that, it will automatically suggest us to do these things and discover more and more about that field. so it becomes extremely important to develop your mind in such a way that it recommends you whatever you need the most. Moreover, your mind is slightly like YouTube. Just like YouTube observes what you search and what you watch, and gives recommendations accordingly, similarly your mind also observes what you do and gives you recommendations accordingly. So it becomes extremely important to tell what your mind what it should recommend you to do.
So this is how we can become a practitioner in whatever field we are and whatever we want to learn. And so whichever field you want to focus, it is crucial for you to practice as practice is what creates experiences. There is another saying, "You learn something when you have a good experience, we get a good experience when we get a bad experience, and a bad experience comes from practice and struggling and becoming disciplined towards our work." This saying tells us that entire path of success. To become successful, we need a good experience, and this good experience comes when we become successful by understanding our mistakes in a bad experience, and this bad experience comes in practice, wherein we constantly struggle and understand more and more things.
