Why is willingness to do something important?
We hear of “will-power” a lot from our surroundings. Many people say that, “If someone’s will power is strong enough, then he is only steps apart from achieving success.” This might put a question in your mind, just by willing how can someone achieve success in a more confident way?
When we want to learn something that we think is
fascinating to us, then we automatically do that thing again and again until we
achieve something that can appease our curiosity. Basically, it is our will
power that makes us to that thing again and again until we get to what we were
looking for. Determination, is its other name. When someone is determined
enough to learn something new, then he will find sources at the utmost of his
capability to know more and more about that thing.
When someone is determined, the feeling that goes
through his mind is pure fascination/amazement of that thing. Moreover, it has
become something like a passion for him and this passion is making him find out
more and more about that thing. Let me give you an example. If you have
observed blacksmiths, that do their works consistently and determinedly, that
is, they are much focused and determined when they are doing their works. They
keep on hitting with the hammer on the molten iron bar until it becomes flat
like a sword.
